The Country music fans had the chance to see Jessica Simpson over the weekend in Concord, N.C. for a few days of NASCAR. Jessica put some black short shorts on for a Saturday night (October 11) performing a 40-minute concert at Lowes Motor Speedway. Reports indicate that the singer/songwriter, actress and reality television star Jessica Simpson performed the national anthem for the Bank of America 500 pre-race festivities.
The pop singer-turned-country talked recently about the switch and said to the press, “Country music is where my heart is. It’s been a shock to the media and the outside world but, to my friends, family and loved ones, it’s somewhere I’ve always been.” Simpson’s new country album, Do You Know, debuted No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart last month.
