Carmen Electra turned a role on the swimsuit series Baywatch into a career as a general-purpose voluptuous celebrity. She got her start as a musician, performing under the tutelage of Prince; her album Carmen Electra was released in 1992. She moved into acting, taking a role on Baywatch (the show which also launched Pamela Anderson's career), and then replacing Jenny McCarthy as the host of MTV's dating game show Singled Out. She appeared in the film Goodburger (1997), Scary Movie (2000, with Shannon Elizabeth, and also in the 2006 sequel Scary Movie 4), Starsky and Hutch (2004, with Ben Stiller) and Cheaper by the Dozen 2 (with Steve Martin). Electra married eccentric basketball star Dennis Rodman in 1998; after some much-publicized squabbles, they divorced the next year. In 2003 she married rock guitarist Dave Navarro, and the pair starred in the MTV series 'Til Death Do Us Part: Carmen & Dave. In July of 2006 they announced the end of their marriage.
