Actress Sandra Bullock appears at Nashville Flood Benefit

Sandra Bullock was a surprise guest at Tuesday night's Nashville Rising flood relief benefit concert in Nashville, Tennessee. Bullock, center, is seen here at the MTV Movie Awards earlier this month.

Bullock, equipped with an acoustic guitar, surprised the sell-out crowd of more than 15,000 people, "I'm going to bring the house down and I'm going to do it Nashville style!"

Tim McGraw hosted the ceremony and, according to The Tennessean, he asked his Blind Side co-star to participate. Bullock received a great response from the audience when she played the beginning of "Smoke On the Water" before she introduced McGraw’s wife, Faith Hill.

Bullock, 45, told the sell-out crowd that she would bring the house down, though by the time she finished, she came to the conclusion, “I can’t play for crap!”
Other performers at the benefit included stars with more musical experience than Bullock, such as Taylor Swift, Toby Keith, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood and ZZ Top.

On stage, Bullock said, "They say a community is only as strong as its weakest link and from where I stand, I see no weak links."
The actress said about her hometown, "We get together and take care of each other."
